
Dr. Daniel Blaess has had a private practice in San Diego since 2002. He trained at Harvard University and the California School of Professional Psychology. He is an adjunct faculty member at Alliant International University and at the Center for Creative Leadership. He works with adolescents and adults in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and is an advanced candidate in the Adult Psychoanalysis program at SDPSI. He serves on the executive committee of the SDPSI Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy program. Dr. Blaess works with a range of issues, and has particular interest in personality problems.

Dr. Scott Boles is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice who works with children, adolescents, and adults, and also consults with parents on issues of child development and parenting. He is graduate of both the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program and the Child, Adolescent, and Adult Training Programs in Psychoanalysis. Dr. Boles has served on the executive committee of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program and as a consultant to the Hanna Fenichel Center for Child Development.


Dr. Brewer-Johnson is a clinical psychologist in private practice in San Diego, California. She specializes in the treatment of young adults and adolescents. She also provides Individual, Couples and Group Psychotherapy to adults, adolescents and children. In addition to Dr. Brewer-Johnson’s work in private practice, she also serves the students of San Diego State University on a contract basis where she teaches a resiliency course and provides psychological counseling services.
