
Stephanie Nigh, licensed Marriage, Family, Child Therapist, has been in full time private practice since 1984. Stephanie works from a developmental, depth perspective with adult individuals, couples and adolescents. Her areas of specialty include relationship issues, attachment, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual dysfunction and trauma (EMDR). Stephanie’s collaborative approach strengthens patterns for change and growth while addressing each client’s specific concerns. Stephanie offers group psychotherapy for helping professionals and for clergy; provides professional consultation for therapists and is currently serving on SDPSI’s board of directors. Through Creative Leadership Dynamics, Stephanie offers organizational consultation and executive coaching.

Dr. Ritter is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Psychoanalyst with a private practice for adults in La Jolla, California. She provides treatment for Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Post-traumatic Stress and Trauma recovery, grief/loss experiences, and life transitions, with special interest in Women’s, Men’s, and Bi-cultural issues. She also offers clinical assessments, supervision, and consultation. Welcomes team treatment with psychiatrists and Primary Care Physicians. German speaking. Accepts most health insurances or private fee arrangement.
Dr. Ritter is a graduate of the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and The Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara, California. She also is a graduate and a faculty member of the San Diego Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, and currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors.

Dr. Rosen has been practicing psychodynamically-oriented individual and couple's psychotherapy for over thirty years, and psychoanalysis for over ten. She is a Training and Supervising analyst as well as Faculty member at SDPSI, and is certified to practice psychoanalysis by the American Psychoanalytic Association. She has presented and published work on ethics, gender and psychoanalytic training, and is an Associate Clinical Professor in the UCSD Medical School Department of Psychiatry. Her current practice includes clinical supervision of mental heath professionals; psychoanalytic psychotherapy of adults, late adolescents, and couples; and psychoanalysis.
